21-Day Summer Sunrise Yoga: Sign Up Now!

Rise and shine! What if you dedicated 21 days to greeting the sun with yoga — before the world wakes up and the day pulls you in every direction?
Maybe you’re thinking, “Why on earth would I do that?”
Answer, “because it could genuinely change your life.”
After 21 consecutive mornings of practicing yoga at sunrise, I believe you will notice something shift. You’ll move through your days with more energy and confidence. You’ll feel stronger and more flexible — in your body and your mind. You’ll have greater clarity about how you want to live, more compassion for yourself and others, and a deep, earned love for the quiet magic of early mornings. After 21 days, you won’t just feel better — you’ll feel like a new person.
The Heart of the Practice
This program is structured around the first two steps of yoga’s eight-fold path — the yamas and the niyamas — ten ethical teachings from the Yoga Sutras that invite us to live with greater grace, kindness, and intention, both on and off the mat.
The Yamas (restraints):
- Ahimsa — non-harming
- Satya — truthfulness
- Asteya — non-stealing
- Aparigraha — non-possessiveness
- Brahmacharya — maintenance of vitality
The Niyamas (self-disciplines):
- Tapas — purification through discipline
- Santosha — contentment
- Saucha — purity
- Svadhyaya — self-study
- Ishvara Pranidhana — devotion to a higher power
Though the Yoga Sutras were written thousands of years ago, their wisdom feels just as alive and relevant today. These teachings offer a complete path toward health, well-being, happiness, and meaning — and serve as a powerful mirror for self-awareness in daily life.
How It Works
Starting Monday, July 6, we’ll gather live online each morning. Over the 21 days, we’ll explore each yama and niyama for two days at a time. Every teaching will be paired with a corresponding asana (posture), mudra (hand gesture), and mantra (chant) to help you fully embody the energy and intention of each principle — all woven into a complete morning practice that prepares your body and mind for the day ahead.
Can’t make it live every morning? No problem — I send out the recording daily.
As a special bonus, I’ll also be weaving in Energy Medicine Yoga techniques throughout the series.
By the end of these 21 days, you’ll carry yoga with you as something far deeper than a physical practice. You’ll have abundant joy — and the tools to sustain it.
Start Preparing Now
If early mornings aren’t your norm yet, now is a great time to ease in. Try waking up 15 minutes earlier each week leading up to July. A gentle bedtime routine — stepping away from screens before sleep — can make a real difference in how rested and ready you feel.
This is my seventh year teaching 21-Day Summer Sunrise Yoga, and my excitement for it has never faded. There is something truly special about practicing together in those early hours — the stillness, the intention, the community. Weaving the yamas and niyamas into our practice helps us not just talk the talk, but walk the walk as loving, conscious yogis in the world.
I can’t wait to see you on the mat.
