I recently took a chance. Despite being discouraged by some people, I signed up to teach a yoga retreat at a new location — on the Caribbean side of Costa Rica at the beach!! I listened to my gut, and I was right. It was AMAZING and TRANSFORMATIONAL. So much so that I already signed up to go back. There is so much I want to do again and even more that I haven’t discovered there. Why don’t you come with me and find out what I learned about this secret part of Costa Rica? Give yourself a gift this holiday season!! And, take advantage of my limited-time-only discount of $200 until the end of the year.
You’ll be joining me for an evolution in consciousness as you delve into the practices of yoga, energy medicine, mindfulness, and mindful eating. Let your body, heart, and mind be transformed as you are held by the beauty and wildlife of the tropical rainforest and washed by one of Costa Rica’s best beaches and warm oceans. Don’t let anyone tell you differently–September and October are the best (sunniest) months to visit the Caribbean side of Costa Rica.
Here’s what one participant said: Gathering at Tierra de Sueños is a unique and colorful chance to practice yoga in an open-air environment bombarded by the sights and sounds of the jungle. Lynn is lively and committed, and the participants and the community are warm, welcoming, and inspiring. An unforgettable immersion into the beauty of Costa Rica. Did I mention it all comes with an ocean? Ann H. (2023)
The eco-adventures are varied, exciting, and sometimes challenging. There is something for everyone to enjoy. You can choose to snorkel from the amazing beach within walking distance. You can kayak in the river or ocean. You can go hiking in the jungle at day and in the night with a guide. The Food and Culture Tour was a favorite of the people that went on it this year. I will definitely check it out next year. But this year my favorite was a hike through the indigenous lands of the Bri Bri Tribe to a hidden waterfall. Once you get there you can swim under it and let out a big scream. At least that’s what I did. It felt so exhilarating to be alive!
The retreat center is right in the jungle. Monkeys, toucans, sloths, and other wildlife inhabit the area and are often seen overhead. You can experience a refreshing retreat while exploring the more rustic side of Costa Rica. For more pictures of the center and surrounding areas, follow Tierra de Sueños on Instagram https://www.instagram.com/tierradesuenoslodge/ or visit their website.

Pfister’s preferred beaches are on the Caribbean Coast of Costa Rica. “It’s where most well-traveled locals spend their vacations,” he notes, citing Playa Chiquita in Limón Province as one of the finest stretches of sand in Costa Rica.
